About Moseley
Moseley is a funky suburb of Birmingham and HQ for blu-jam. It has been the breeding ground for an incredible amount of music acts considering it's size (about 1 sq. mile) including Ocean Colour Scene, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Black Sabbath, Duran Duran, UB40 and now blu-jam.
J.R.R. Tolkein also hails from the area, Moseley bog being the inspiration for the Shrine and planning has been agreed for a 20ft statue of Treebeard from Lord of the Rings in Moseley centre.
A very cosmopolitan area it has a well established spirit and ethos and boasts a wonderful range of pubs and restaurants. The night life attracts people from all over Birmingham looking for an alternative evening to the city centre.
